Lost my first one about 14 months after getting married. I was 180ft up a chimney stack in Ketton pulling a pump up on a rope..... rope pulled it on and down it went.....

The one I have now is much nicer - found it in an an antiques shop in the Cotswolds and Mrs Jabba bought it for me.

Like "Mr Numbers", I felt worse about losing the first one than Mrs Jabba did.

Man, I hate to be the pedant here but...

lose = To lose something i.e I am about to lose $50 on the horses

loose = The opposite of tight i.e Not from Yorkshire

Back on topic, sorry to hear about your ring- I'd be really bummed if I lost my ring. Luckily it is fairly tight and so the chances of it falling off are pretty slim.

Sorry to hear about your ring.

Re tungsten carbide- that's one of the materials that can be used in tools for milling and turning. Some useless information for you.
