August Photo comp, Vote 1-10

The summer is coming to and end though I'm struggling to think when it really started. Despite of this it seems some people have found some of those rare summer days and submitted some great pictures that just wants to make you crack open a cold drink.

This months topic was submitted by Warthog and in true Warthog style is was alcohol!

To quote the man himself "Photos that just scream "drink me". Or maybe a lovely place to have a sip of red wine. Or maybe the most fancy cocktail you have ever made."

So there you have it, a light refreshing taste of a topic

A suggestion for next months polls:

I know that the forum only allows 10 options in a poll but I find it annoying (and it may just be me!) that on the thread(s) I haven't voted on I have to click view results to see how folk are doing. So my suggestion is to have 9 options in each thread, and then the 10th to be "voted on other thread".

I'm just being lazy and I do appreciate how much work goes into setting up these threads each month, so feel free to ignore me........

Although Jans1971 is bloody hilarious, I think I will vote for Fizzy Fish, as Savannah in the Drakensberg is a really really nice place to drink!

Yer, as a rule I tend to stick in the first pic submitted or the one that they wanted put in. I couldn't tell which one BluePete wanted so went with the first, It's a good pic for sure and if Bluepete wants to change it thats fine but probably a bit late now...

It is a pain simesb having only 10 per thread, I get what you mean, so both polls have a voted on other thread button so you can always see the up to date votes, not a bad idea...i'll stick it in next months comp and see how it goes, seems like a good idea

Is there no way to make it so you can have more options on these polls to make it easier?


I voted mart as I love that drink! Yum Yum. Im not much of a drinker but I do like that.
