goodo matey-

remember HG are a franchise- so the "manager" is actually a partner- and indded the "owner" of his own business so concentrate on customer service getting on with the owner chappy and of course with all of the staff-

dont be drawn into conversations about other staff memebers or your opinion of them.. and save any really wild opinions on ANYTHING until u worked there fer about 3 months !.. BUT -

be YOURSELF !... after all it was yerself that got through tthe interview and the offer of a trial day ...

Good Luck...

oh and have a snifty at their website and get some business history and info.. it may come in handy

CORRECT !!

so if its quiet ..!! in the store-- just pick up a garment or product and get some knowledge.. ! fabric, wash instructions etc...

and know yer shoe /boot sizes in terms of 42/ 43 and that rubbish...

you will be fine mate-

I mean its what you enjoy and as long as you are humble and dont prophess to know it all.!,,.. remember- they will want some control in terms of training you and cloning you into their way- .
so f dont be a maverick.....

like I say- as a retail manager- i would NOT give anyone shop floor time if I thght they were going to be detrimental to the business.. so you are 60% there.... . . . .....
