Anyone own a Mazda 6 07-12? - SV650.org

Does anyone own one? My 2001 Civic Coupe is getting on a bit, got its mot tomorrow and I have been thinking about upgrading. Looking to get a Mazda 6 Sport. Just wondered if anyone owns/owned one and what they are like to live with?

My old boss had a diesel one, its a good car, although not suited to short journeys. But as you're buying the petrol one, then its a good buy.

Its one of the cars I'd consider getting.

Got one, 07 hatch 1.8 128bhp.

I quite like it, handles itself well for the size of the car. Needs revving to get going though. It is now becoming tired (but it's 8yrs old), there is a common issue with the hatch leaking around the lights and I cannot sort it for love or money (I had the drain bungs out the wheel well to let it get out again). It can haul a lot of stuff, we went away this year with a pram, two cases and associated junk for a week with a 6 and 2 year old and it was in the boot with the parcel shelf on.

About 30mpg, once you hit an indicated 85 you can watch the fuel gauge fall.

Now trying the lunacy that is KTM with a Superduke GT. for the pillion capability of course.
