Re: Bike stores
racing.
Most stores have some, not sure about the likes of hein gericke though, they're select about who they stock. I tried on some in a local independant little shop, gave me an idea of what size I needed, unfortunately they couldn't get the boots I wanted so ordered off the net.

Re: Bike stores
Hmm dunno I just went to an unlikely little bike shop that had a back room full of clothing, he had some old tcx racing boots which I tried to get my size. Don't know anywhere down souf I'm afraid!
If you're having real difficulty then I'd say tcx's sizes are pretty accurate I found them similar sizing to trainers, you could ring up an online store and ask what size you should have for whatever size trainer you are. They'll always swap if wrong but just a bit of an árse and expense. Think I bought mine from offshorevisors.co.uk or something. Edit: ridersoffshore.co.uk The woman I spoke to was very helpful, although they ****ed me off as they accidentally sent me a tinted visor and because she was nice (and so am I) I let them know their mistake and arranged to send it back. However she never refunded the cost of me posting it back and didn't respond to me. nobbers.
