Sv650a 2016 tail tidy
Hi guys, im new in this forum, i just bought myself a new SV650A 2016 and would like to fit a tail tidy on it as the standard ones look bulky and ugly (as we all know ). Im just wondering if the R&G Tail tidy is good enough in term of fitting and product quality? thanks.
Pictures would be much appreciated. Many thanks Harry |

Re: Sv650a 2016 tail tidy
I have an R&G on my 2005.
It came with the bike when I bought it. I wouldn't buy another. The paint all fell off it and it started to corrode pretty much the first time I took the bike out in the rain (1st owner was a fair weather rider). The set angle of the number plate meant the plate hit the back wheel. Last owner had a small plate on the bike and it was still catching the wheel, so I had to bend the tail tidy so the plate was angled more. This resulted in the metal actually tearing/splitting. It is quite thin. The supplied LED light with mine was rubbish. Not a problem if you only ride in daylight, but I don't. So I had to weld the splits up, rub the thing down and repaint it to make it better. I also managed to incorporate the OE number plate light into my reworked tidy. This is just my experience of it though, I'm sure others will use them and have no problems. |

Yep they are pish. I emailed them telling them how sh*t they are, and even dangerous in my bike's case and they couldn't care less. Overpriced crap

Small world.
I used to live one street along. I don't remember the bakery but spent a lot of time, probably too much, in the Campbeltown. |

I bought the Vagabond Motorsports one on Amazon for $69. It looks great, and was an easy install.
