Clutch Cover
Hi,
Anyone know of any aftermarket clutch covers available for the curvy sv? and roughly how much they go for? I've contacted a fellow on a german site about one with a window in it but he said that he isnt going to make any until there are 10 buyers ready. If anyone wants one let me know and i'll start making a list, other than that what other options are there? is there any off of other bikes that fit? cheers dan |

Re: Clutch Cover

Re: Clutch Cover
Yes just the clutch, early Curvy's have separate clutch covers. They are made from Aluminium and two at least come with a crash bung, one plastic and one steel.
These three are available from JHS, problem is there are reports of condensation building up behind them and contaminating the oil in our lovely British climate! |

Re: Clutch Cover
never had problem with condensation.
some covers like factory pro have casing for bolts inside that gets in the way if you use slipper clutch. |

Re: Clutch Cover
I doubt i'll ever go for a slipper.. I blip.
I asked JHS about the woodcraft one and they said it was like £170+VAT which is a bit steep, I recon i might just get their cheap billet one. What else is available? are there no other suzuki model covers that fit? cheers dan |

I had the condensation effect the 750, never had a problem with the OEM plastic one fitted. Several others have had the same problem, 650's and 700's. Problem reoccurred when I refitted the Factory Pro one again after crash damage ruined the OEM one. |

Re: Clutch Cover
hmmm... the woodcraft one looks nice... how much clearance does the standard cover leave?
