Default Safari browser

When I kicked in itunes to check out my podcasts, a window popped up telling me there was an update along with Safari browser.

Has anyone tried it? Worth bothering with? I've always used IE, ignoramus that I am. A browser's a browser innit?

I used it for about a week. Went back to IE. Safari did some wierd things to my desktop shortcuts, so I had to do a system restore to before I installed Safari.

Never install anything by Apple

It will try and take over your entire machine (Oh look you have and iPod, here do you want a web browser too, oh wait, how about an email client etc etc)

Just dont do it.

Use it on the iTouch, its fine to use on that. Opera is far better IMO.

I use Flock, but thats because of the media add ons you can get for it which is useful for my photo's.

Never even bothered with Safari and I use a Mac, got the new iMac for my birthday but used a macbook before this one.

I never really liked IE either.
