Chris, its not that sort of trip

Seriously though, the leather will stretch and become more supple in time and should get more confortable, as for the boots, prob just need breaking in

Yeah, i use Sutton Motorcycles, they are a nice bunch of guys. The big ginger bloke seems a little cold though, but still helpful.
Hehe, big ginger guy, Steve, yeah sometimes a little cold but I think he's more of a 'salesman' than your friendly-advice-biker-type that sometimes work in dealers / shops. He sold me my gixxer and has looked after me well so can't complain.

Honestly mate, no trouble at all for you to borrow the panniers / tail pack - do you want the lot or just one or tother? I can drop them up to you next weekend if you're around?

Wow, MrsLyleJ going too - will she be pillion on the 675 I've read about or she got her own bike?

Cheers,
Matt

Matt
I was looking at the Oxford sprint ones atm. They look ok. And alos the Kriega ones but i dont think they fit a helmet in and i would like to be able to do that if possible.

Where abouts in Birmingham are you??? I would hate for you to go out of your way just to drop them off. I could pop round some day soon instead.

DMC - sounds like a plan

Saturday afternoon (straight after lunch) would be best for me, alternatively Saturday morning or Sunday morning.

Binky, the Oxford sprint panniers / tailpack (and that funky little tankbag) are good. I think you can get a helmet in any of the tankbags or tailpacks they do. I used my tailpack last week to put the Mrs' helmet in and pick her up from work - it is useful to be able to do that rather than have it hanging off your arm or whatever!

I live in the city centre near Five Ways - I'm one of those new-fangled young professional types with a flat by the canal.

Cheers,
Matt
