Ouch. That doesn't sound pleasant. GWS.

Morning all. Cold and grey out there, and forecast to remain that way pretty much for the week. I'm getting wrapped up and heading out for a walk with Mabel shortly.

What does the week have in store for everyone?

Morning Gary. I couldn't help but watch the inauguration. With 1 or 2 exceptions, a room full of hate. People who hate themselves, and by extension, everyone else in the world. People offering no hope, no vision, just a supremacist view of 'America uber alles.'

For the first time in a long, long time, I'm actually quite fearful of the future.

Morning all. Cold and bright this morning. Off out in about half an hour to walk Mabel, then off to do some gardening for someone. I'm hoping it's going to stay dry and maybe warm up a little so that I can get out on the bike for a short while this afternoon.
What's everyone else up to?

Morning folks. Grey and damp here with the threat of quite a bit of rain heading this way.

I never made it out on the bike in the end yesterday. I just ran out of time, and when I drove out of Llanfyllin yesterday, the main road for about a mile was covered in a thick layer of mud from tractors and trailers. The front end of the car was slipping and sliding, so I doubt anything much on two wheels would have stayed upright. Dirty sods really should be made to clean up after themselves.
Be no riding today either given trhe weather forecast.

How is the week going so far for everybody?

I hate that. Farmers have to farm but as you say, that stuff can be lethal for any vehicle, not just bikes. Towards the end of last year I came within a couple of inches of dropping the bike because of a slew of gravel and loose mud that had fallen off a trailer halfway round a corner, it was like riding on marbles.
