I suspect time will prove Musk to be irrelevant in all aspects

As I've previously stated I follow what's happening in the US since my kids are American. So, after that preamble, here's some of Trump's cabinet picks:

"The Fox News presenter, Pete Hegseth, who is almost guaranteed to become the Defense Secretary, yet has bankrupted one veteran’s organisation, run another one into the ground, and has been accused of sexual assault and being drunk at work.

RFK Jr., the anti-vaxxer (including Polio - added by Seeker) and advocate of drinking raw milk, whose unscientific health ideas sit alongside his very few sensible ones like a red flag the size of the Empire State Building next to one the size of a beach hut, making him the worst possible candidate to lead the Department of Health.

Trump’s National Intelligence Director will be Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat accused of spreading Russian misinformation, including describing Kamala Harris as being the main instigator of the Russia-Ukraine war."

It looks like to get chosen you must have some major character flaws to be even considered. It also seems to help if you have no experience to bring to your new job as long as you have a few conspiracies tucked under your belt.

Tbh, the Muppets would make a better job of it , and would at least be amusing while they were at it.

China must be finding all this hilarious. It would be funny if it wasn't serious. I can't see anything working as such, all the characters will fall out with each other basically through ineptitude. When you have such a disparate bunch of idealogues and dreamers they'll never all work under a coherent strategy (even if there was an actual strategy, which I don't think there is. MAGA is not a strategy).
The fan starts today, the s*** is on its way.

Moldova is the next obvious target, it's already half Russian in reality, Putin will easily lay claim to it, then he might as well close the gap and include Odessa and cut off the coast access completely.
Maybe this should be in the gripe section.

Blimey Geo, that's a rough bit to go through. Hope you're not too sore and you make the speediest possible recovery.
