Default Christmas just isn't christmas anymore..

Something has went wrong this year:

Is it the lack of snow...
Is it all this Global warming...
Is it the lack of decorations...
Is it the lack of Christmas music...
Is it the lack of top of the pops...

NO! Its because the "holidays aren't coming"..
It just isn't Christmas without that ad.. Coca-cola please BRING BACK CHRISTMAS!!!!

The spirit of christmas, etc is not something I've experienced so far this year.

Season of goodwill?

Last night on my walk home from the station I had some rather irate irishman fire off "c'mon hips!!! Jesus Christ!!!" in irritation, as he charged past as soon as the traffic gave him and his cohorts room, simply because I wasn't walking fast enough for him and his skeletal companion. I couldn't walk any faster than the woman in front of me but apparently the size of my hips was notable.

I am sorely tired of people. For the most part, they're selfish, egotistical wastes of space.

They have Christmas cards with snow scenes, just like us!
A few years ago I spent Christmas day at the ferry port in Melbourne waiting for boat to Tasmania. Our Christmas dinner was a picnic in a nearby park, but it was so windy that everything was blowing everywhere.

Coca cola have sent a statement regarding this, I thought I'd post it...

Quote:
We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed not to see the "Holidays are Coming" advert on TV this year.

Christmas is an exciting time and we wanted to create a new ad that captured the spirit and the optimism that Christmas brings. The new 'Greatest Gift' commercial marks the 75th anniversary of illustrator Haddon Sundblom's original vision of Santa in Coke ads.

'Coca-Cola' has been a part of Christmas for many years and our Christmas advertisements are remembered fondly by many. To celebrate this Christmas, several of the greatest Coke Christmas ads 'White Christmas', 'Caravan' and 'Polar Bears are now available online at www.coca-cola.co.uk/christmas for everyone to view.

After you've enjoyed a taste of nostalgia you can then vote for your personal favourite by clicking the 'Vote Now' button on the screen to select your choice. Tell your family and friends to join in and come back often to see which of these ads from the past is the nation's favourite.

Voting will close at 07:00am on Thursday, December 21st and we will post the results on the site later that that day. The advertisement that receives the most votes will be aired on Christmas Eve during the Best of the Friday Night Project on C4 at 10:20pm.

It is never the intention of The Coca-Cola Company to cause offence or disappointment to any of our consumers. We value your feedback, so I will be passing on your comments to those in our marketing department responsible for commissioning advertising. And don't worry - the "Holidays are Coming" ads are still in existence and are likely to be used again in the future. They certainly haven't disappeared forever!..

Yours sincerely
