Does this mean the DL 650 is now cool because parts fit on the SV?

I found these pics of an SV650S pointy with handguards.

http://www.twistedthrottle.com/image...ge/list/825/0/

They look good from the side, but a bit strange from the front. Maybe the panniers don't help!

Has anyone found them for sale online (at the same price)? I'm stuck at home with tonsillitis at the mo and would like something to do

I thought I tried it and they didn't fit my curvy naked. Maybe I had the V-strom ones which might be different. Anyway, got some of those generic ones that cost a fiver to fit with some serious plastic surgery and a few zip ties. I assume with any handguards, you'll need a longer shoulder bolt, so perhaps the dl-650 ones come with it.

Cheers -D

I got the V-Strom handguards from a Suzuki dealer (about £24) and fitted them(dead easy) to my curvy with no hassle apart from a little extra fitting to accommodate the choke lever travel. You must've had some nause ones.. The genuine V-Strom kit does come with suitable nuts and bolts..

Spares Direct on Harrow Road in North London should be able to mail order them to you. I asked Chris there what the price was and it was same as a dealer would charge, plus carriage. The box they come in isn't small, but it's light.

My fingers froze going into work today - I'll be ordering a pair of those guards. Many thanks for the tip, Lozzo.

So with these handguards fitted, and some decent winter gloves, (I have some Richa Carbon ones), do you hands stay warm, even when it's freezing?
