Rough running and noise.

Right, ill tell you a small story. Got the bike out this afternoon went for a lovely ride around some nice twisties for a good 2 hours got back and wow my new Abba stand had turned up!!! Embraced the moment and gave my recently new chain a good clean and re apply some lube (no problem thanks for the people at Abba). Now comes the weird part, after a clean i decided id go for a 10min bimble to warm up the chain before applying some lube, easy he thinks, not. all good for 9 mins turn into my road decided to ride right round it (it arrives back on itself) get to the last straight at bam something goes wrong. Suddenly my bike is running like a pig wont rev past 3k in any gear, sounds awful feels lumpy, i wrestle it back to my drive when jsut as im about to turn in it dies completly refusing to start up again . Now i finally get it to start and got a video of it on my phone to give you an idea of how bad its running,

Now in the video it cuts out on its own i didnt turn the key and its never made that sound before, and no its not wet out, has been covered constantly and was running fine for hours earlier???????

Please wise ones of the org, HELP!!! (does it help i need it in the morning!!!)

check the oil level as it sounds rough as. Nothing obvious, smoke? Levels okay?, Reg/rec ok? Don't just come on here and expect the answer with "My bike runs like crap" we can't see oil level + condition etc . . . .

Not raining? Can't see vid but similar symptoms to only running on one cylinder....

Oil is fine, no smoke, like i said it was running fine for the first 9 mins of the short ride and was just last 100m that it went weird on me.

yeah dry as a bone out there, if it had been wet or i had cleaned it i wouldn't be worrying but as its dry i cant figure out why it would go.

Only pulling ya leg,, pull the plugs out and check them!!!

My 50 used to make a noise like that when it needed a new plug..No harm in checking them. It also used to do it EVERY time it rained with out fail and had a top speed of about 5 mph when it did it, still it got used rain or shine.

hmmm, well the plugs were only replaced in 300miles ago so i really hope they havent gone already

So its general consensus that one of the cylinders isn't firing?
