Polished your rocket? - SV650.org

So been a nice few days, have you polished those winter blues away as in my case or just maybe wheeled it out for the first time in months to dust of the cobwebs. Here are a couple pics of mine and it looks fine (well apart from the large patch of paint that's now missing from the off side engine cover ? ahhhhhh!!!!! - what do you do about that?) Looks ok though apart from that, not as clean as some here by any means (i wish)

Polishing bikes is a overrated experience

I cleaned and polished the black one.......friday afternoon it was washed......saturday afternoon it was polished, oiled, WD'd, waxed you name it I did it..bit of an overkill two days but its rather squeek kleen.

and there was a witness....yorkiechris, it still hasn't swayed him to clean his own!!!

Mines back in one piece and MOT'd again, just needs a good dose of polish & wax now, a new chain and sprocket set and itll be ready to go

..normally they fall apart when you clean the off the dirt that's holding it together
