Thumbs down Exam results

didnt do as well as I hoped, was after a 2.1 and missed it by 0.6% by my maths.

Year Code Title Mark Grade Credits
Attempt no.
2007/8 PO2CGP Comparative Government and Pol 49 D 20
2007/8 PO2COS Contemporary Strategy 70 A 20
2007/8 PO2MIR Modern International Relations 44 D 20
2007/8 PO2SOP The Study of Politics P 20
2007/8 PO2THI Political Thinking 74 A 20
2007/8 PO2WAP War and Peace Since 1800 60 B 20

works out at 59.4%

But I supose its not that bad, I thought I might have failed the 2 modules I did badly in.

everyone else seems to have done really well

ah well

sorry to hear you missed out on the 2.1 by such a small margin - but hey all the best people get 2.2s!

In practice, unless you want to do postgrad study it's very unlikely that it will ever make a difference to your future options, and at least you can say that you had fun at uni rather than spending all of your time with your head stuck in a book!

now get out there and have a few beers tonight!

hey thats a shame......in politics they'd demand a recount....(really bad attempt there at lightening the bad news)
To me a pass is a pass, but i have no idea about uni grades, so well done!
In the mean time I am sat waiting like a cat on hot bricks waiting for Im Indoors' results

Speaking to my mate, his daughter got her results today ... poor cow, they were told they would be up by midday, they didn't put them up until ~3pm ... (been there and done that with results and it is harsh where they publish them on a bulletin board at uni and you have to go in, not simply email/mail you them!!!) ... basically the year has been over, so you are at home and have to commute to uni to get your results ... unless you live near where you went to uni, that commute is the longest in your life ... ever!! ... but to have a delay too !!

p.s. a 2:2 ... you should be ashamed of yourself .... anything less than a 1st and you have failed!! ....

..

...

...

just kidding, but I am struggling to keep the 'hate' going at the mo so needed some fuel!!

I've just been able to check out my first year results online - one D, one C, three B's and an A.

The D was for our Industry module - which I knew I'd bombed as my work experience placement got screwed up and I had to re-sit... so the grade was capped at a D- (bare pass) and it was worth 60%.

The A was for Lab Skills, which I'm really pleased with as I really enjoyed growing bugs then burning them under controlled conditions.
