Re: B*ll*cks
It looks fine from this side, apart from the displaced tank and missing side panel. Less so from the other side.
Bye bye, SV. Gone too soon. Last edited by Craig380; 26-02-19 at 05:36 PM. |

Re: B*ll*cks
I meant to post this earlier but it slipped my mind. I crashed wearing the £35 aramid-lined jeans that I bought from eBay a few years back (they come with removable soft armour for the knees and hips).
OK, my crash was at around 35mph so it wasn't mega high-speed. But I went down HARD on both knees and slid on knees & hips for quite a distance. Although the denim tore over the impact point on the knee, the aramid remained completely intact. And the armour pad took the main force of the impact (my kneecap was bruised black & blue but not broken). Maybe the £100 jeans do ultimately offer better protection, but the £35 cheapie eBay ones didn't let me down, and offer miles better protection than ordinary jeans. They're also comfortable to wear with big pockets etc. |
