These 1.2 amp battery charger / maintainers are down to £20 now... I have bought 3 - one fitted to sister-in-laws car with SAE plug accessible at bottom of front grille and a lead out through hole in porch with 12 foot extension cable, initially charged the almost flat 65a/h battery - been using it for over a month now ( does not use her car much and the alarm standby current keeps draining the battery ). Fitted one in the garage for my SV - does a soft start charge ramps up from about 12.7 to over 14 volts and samples battery voltage, the 'float voltage' is controlled by a temperature sensor in the unit, I checked it on SV and when green light came on it steadied at 13.7 volts, which is spot on for the 5degC temp in garage at the time ( the lower the temp the higher the 'float ' voltage ).. My brother has one as well on his VFR 800.

This contains a permanent fuse lead with SAE lead and a lead with crocodile clips

You have over 1.8 metres from 13amp plug to charger and then 1.5 metres from charger to end of 12volt lead SAE plug, the fuse lead supplied o fit to battery is about 500mm long.

and also got an extra an extension lead

Nice one. The weakness with all of these chargers is the Battery side cables. They tend to fail by bending. I took care of this using a Tie-Wrap to stop the thin cable flexing and wearing prematurely where they are close to the unit.

Hope that us useful to you and or anyone else,

Bought these last month to remove wheels from AL7 to get new boots fitted - good quality single hex 27mm socket for rear wheel and a 12mm A/F allen bit for front wheel.

I've been working on a pal's SV650s and needed/wanted to try a different release fluid. Read the reviews of this so bought some. Excellent value and also a good degreaser. Biggest Aerosol can I've ever seen tho'!

I read that but wouldn't use any of these type things on rubber anyway and just as a rust release/degreaser

You got me thinking though and found this useful chart as it's blurb says it's kerosene based,

Pocket20 takes 20% off a lot of ebay stuff at the moment. Including OpieOils. I just bought myself some iridium sparkies . A small saving on 2 cylinder bikes but a saving, if you're in the market for anything now is a good time to shop.

Ebay also randomly gave me a tenner off some grotesquely overpriced oil last week bringing it down to a more stomachable £10 per quart.

Demon Tweeks outlet on ebay is selling Pazzo brake and clutch levers for £20-£24. I think that's a good price for the brand (ignore me if not) - I bought a clutch lever to match the generic brake lever I already had.

Zero gravity double-bubble windscreens in their ebay shop for £20 as well.
