After everything that has happened Trott is coming home. I feel for him, he's one of the nicest guys I know, and I've been friends with his wife for many years so I really hope he can overcome his illness. It puts everything in perspective.

I stayed up til Carberry got out, then went to bed, thus avoiding the horror that followed. Shudder.

Johnson's moustache has somehow put a curse on England. And where is Compton?
