Accident, good outcome!
2 years ago i was involved in an accident, filtering and then had a car pull in front of me!
Ive battled and battled and bloody battled all the way. I sent "That Letter" plus a full and proper statement from myself and its dragged and dragged all the way. I was due in court tomorrow morning for which was annoying as im supposed to be out with clients. (Not the Wayne Rooney type Clients) Last minute or rather just now i had a call from my solicitors saying third party has pulled out, based on they have no evidence!!!!!!!!! Im bouncing around like bloomin Tigger!!!!! Wooohooohooohoooooooo. A message to pass to all, if you are generally sure that your in the right then fight it all the way and don't give up. Two years over something so trivial and finally I got what i wanted all along. My bike is getting the bits fixed that it needs. (SPANNER MAN I MAY SEE YOU VERY SOON depending on the mumbo jumbo that goes with the finalisation.) I didn't want any damages to myself just the bike being fixed as it was. To say im happy is an understatement. Common sense does prevail. |

Re: I won i won i won!!!!!!!
Good stuff
Similar with me. I had been riding a month, was on a 125cc with L-plates at the time, I was filtering, near a junction, and I went into the back of someone. No witnesses were willing to give statements. Police were not involved. Reading that it sounds like I should have been at fault... but I was not at fault and recouped 100% of the costs including my excess etc. It can and does happen so don't believe those who say just because you went into the back of someone you don't stand a chance. I was fully comprehensive so paid my excess (£400, ouch!) the next day, had a brand new bike (other was written off) sorted by my insurance company within 2 weeks, a hire bike for the period inbetween, and then finally got it all settled a year or so later. |

Re: Accident, good outcome!
On that incredibly good news for you I'm now more hopeful that my court case will go my way too.
Congratulations. I'm sure the closure on the whole thing feels great. |
