Mmmm an unused socket, I'd missed that selling point. I can't say any more because of the U rating here

Got one of those, paid nowhere near that price though. I still find it funny when they say it comes with film and then show a photo of the back open. I also still see the "rare" or "scarce" tag on fairly basic common cameras.

C41 kit has arrived. Just need to learn how to use it. Mixing seems easy enough, and I could me 500ml,750ml or one litre if I wanted to.

I'll be interested to see how that goes. I'm still thinking about B&W but it might have to wait until the end of the year.
Just popped a bid on this. Not so bothered about the camera but it's got a good lens on it. 311876483274

M42 lens? I have the film from the EOS 300 to test the kit on, don't fancy ruining Johnny's film!

Yep. M42 Tessar. Price will probably go out of my range by the end though.
I don't think you'll ruin the film; it's fairly straightforward. ..... just keeping the temperatures constant will be the hard part. Are chemicals and microwaves a dangerous combination?

Not especially. Best way to keep something at a constant temperature is put it in a large water bath.

Yeah that was what I was thinking. Quite a lot in the kit, part A,B,C has to be mixed with the starter, Bleach then fix and then stabiliser. Black and white is so much easier! Dev, stop, fix and wash!
