Who wants to do a cheap track day with me???

This may be a dumb question, but are there particular things that i need to watch out for on an end of year track day? Like for example damp patches on the track, or it being a more slippery surface compared to a spring day for example.

rain takes longer to dry up during winter, but don't become extra slippery. If its a cold/wet track I keep to the racing line as that dries up faster. Ive noticed tracks differ in drying up speed. Brands took ages, Cadwell dries quite fast. The briefings give good advice and if there are a few offs at a certain spot then take extra care on it. Otherwise your bike will let you know. Mine gives me a tiny warning slide if I lean too much in certain places. And relax

Used to own a flat and I didn't have enough money to do one single trackday. Sold it, renting now. Life's better for trackdays

Weather forecast suggests it's going to be dry but cold on Sunday.

Any reccomendations on keeping warm? My leatheres are vented so I'd normally put the textiles on in those conditions but I know you have to wear leathers on the track.
