Re: The weekend thread
This week end has been utter carp.
Worked nights last night, 16:30 start through to 08:30 this morning. My colleague who took over was also late. Got home to face a huge pile of washing up and laundry washing, while the other half languished in bed after a party last night. Not best pleased. I am tired and have a complete sense of humour failure, it is only you dear Org that have so far prevented murder. |

I started digging the garden yesterday, and putting some spare flags down..........wanted to finish it today. Now I've got a massive pile o muck, not a lot of progress, and some great big muddy puddles

Re: The weekend thread
Another bike free weekend. Spent Friday night watching Chris Numbers in the nets at Lord's and introduced him to the England Women's captain. She could teach him a thing or two about batting I think. Also helped a mate get ready for the Marathon.
Saturday bit of work, which ended up being more coffee drinking and catching up than anything else. Today - ah bliss, a lie in, planted a few pretty flowers in the garden and ate 3/4 of a cow tonight with pepper sauce, mushrooms, chips and a beefsteak tomato. Now a bit of Silent Witness. I love a lazy Sunday.

Re: The weekend thread
My brother and family are arriving from Australia this evening so madly getting the house tidy. Looking forward to a nice day out with them tomorrow if they're not too jetlagged.
