Default Canal boat diaries

The Canal Boat Diaries, series 6 is out, released in June this year. Lovely programmes and a real antidote to the madness of the modern world.

I read that several canals have been closed due to lack of water, hope he is not recording series 7 at the moment!

Yes I've watched several of these. Nice calm TV.

A new series of the Canal Boat Diaries with Robbie Cumming starts tomorrow evening at 7pm on U&Yesterday. I believe there are 10 episodes in all. He's starting on the Llangollen Canal, so obviously made it along there before the massive breach and embankment collapse at Whitchurch.

That was really enjoyable. Just watched the first two episodes of the new series. Lovely, and thoroughly engaging slow tv.

Been following the progress re the Whitchurch breach on Ytube especially Riley Robey who owns his own steam roller - found watching the progress quite fascinating.

Yes, I've been following that as well. I might take a ride out there later this week for a closer look.
