Default Help me with Curvy scrambler-racer Project

OK ...I want your Help...meaning anyone that have been there with these modifications OR someone REally gooD at Photoshop...


I decided to keep my 1st Gen (S) and go with the mods below:

- Go naked BUT w/Clip ons (fork springs and emulators as well)

- Buell X1 ROUND Headlight (got it allready)

- Triumph Boneville FORK GAITERS

- GREEN(olive drab?) Khaki PAINTJOB with a Vanishing RED Star on the Tank

- No Grab Rail, No MuD guard, No ORGNAL CLocks (Just A small KOSO)

- RAD HOSE Spring -Protector....

- Bandit GSF 650 FRONT MUdguard (Yes it fits)

- ENGINE GUARD(crash bars)

- PIRELLI SCorpio SYNC Tyres

- Bar end Mirrors

AM I Dreaming to BIG? I need your help because I know I am going to spend money and time (hate my bike being in the shop) , But I have no idea If the outcome is going to worth it

Go for it. But what's the point of off-road tyres and clipons?

The whole idea is an Urban Scrambler-Clubman mix ( all rounder) ...

edit: Forgot to mention the SRX -Under peg mounted Supertrapp

So go with handlebars, I find clipons horrible in town. And I wouldn't even try them on anything off road unless you are this guy:



Urban riding you want some sport touring tyres. I've ridden bikes with semi-knobblies around town before and they were no advantage. Best would probably be some race wets or something.

Avon Pro-Extreme? Road legal full wets.


Most importantly available in SV size rear too.

Never seen the AVON...I just knew the SYNCS and the MUTANTS from Dunlop

The stupid thing is I allready had a top yoke for Handlebars and sold it

So are you doing this as a styling exercise, or because you want to build a fun bike to rag through the city?

I want to drive it in the city , tour a bit (maybe 60-100-120miles)

and love driving through forest roads and light gavel
