Wiscombe Hill Climb 2011
My first hill climb race. It was a damp track in the morning, extremely slippery as I found out when a number of riders came off and my back wheel was snaking around underneath me. Was totally terrified of the first run, HUGE adrenaline rush, nearly sick from fear, but loved it. gradually got quicker throughout the day, but hit false neutrals and never got a decent run in to get below 57sec. Will be looking forward to returning next year and continuing to improve the times. Next weekend it Chivenor and a Twisty Sprint. No trees or banks to hit, so less scary, but higher speeds.

Re: Wiscombe Hill Climb 2011
Were the false neutrals due to the Kliktronic operation or something else?

Re: Wiscombe Hill Climb 2011
Guess the false neutrals were due to me having to go down into first for the hairpin corners, as it doesn't always like going first to second and visa versa. Might need to have a look or just drive along in second and avoid the problem all-together!
