Default Bought another SV

This time I've got myself a 1000. As you will see from the photo it does need a bit of a clean and a few bits replacing. Does it have any issues I should be aware of? As far as I'm aware its all about making sure its been looked after service items, i.e. C&S, filters, oil and plugs. The bikes on ebay and will get it delivered tomorrow and start working on it straight away.

Should I look at anything in particular that needs sorting? Or like most 650's a bit of TLC and it fine?

Naked black SV1000 - it's the only way to fly!

Not that I'm biased of course.

OK got it!!!

Good thing, tank is clean as a whistle.

Bad things, rear foot pegs held on with one bolt each, needs discs and pads all round, callipers to be stripped and cleaned, massive amount of crud on the rear wheel but it scrubs up nice. Few scuffs nothing major. I don't think this bike has been cleaned in the last few years. Not started the engine as we have no fully charged battery. front tyre is beyond nackered. Its f*@ked!!! Never seen a tyre is such a state before. few bits need touching up and a polish and hopefully the engine will be started tomorrow so we can find out whats the problem. And last thing its slightly over filled with oil, when I say slightly I keen when stood upright it fully covers the class. Left exhaust feel apart when taking off.
