Box Tree Caterpillers. Last year I had to dig out and bin the box plants in my front garden as they died from, I thought, blight. The topiary box bushes round the back had it too but not so bad so I gave them another year to see if they pulled through. They started growing then suddenly died last week, and now we're overrun with caterpillars. Lady Poppy looked them up and found they're a far Eastern invasive species that are spreading out from London, wrecking box plants as they go. I planted them out 15 years ago and shaped them when big enough several years later. Now they're chopped up and in the garden waste bin that'll be collected next week. Damn caterpillars.

overtaking on roundabouts generally I find annoying.

Screw out and the tyre is plugged

Luckily my fitter isn't too far away so I cycled along with the wheel. Found a good way to carry it!

It's actually mostly grass. I just go over it when I cut the grass

Stuff, including the understanding that if you are poor, you have pretty limited choices, and a singular lack of control over your own destiny.

Apologies for the early morning, philosophical angst. It's just particularly relevant for me currently.

That's very true Gary, something the current government don't understand.
