Well, travel insurers appear to be a big bunch of wonkers
grr, argh, aggr, arrgh, grr.
No help whatsoever. So all my arrangements are going to come out of my pocket. I may have to reconsider the smaller, amended trip. Maybe just find a beach somewhere. Still, I've been offered contract work in the UK till I get enough funds and a more suitable (um, smaller, lighter, better prep'd) bike. ...and I can't find crutches in Kazakhstn so I'm stuck in this flat. I may just cut the plaster off & use duct tape & ketamine and wear trainers as I'm sick of being house bound. Oh, well, it's all part of the rich tapestry of life! Dirk |

Sorry to hear that you'll have to sort it out yourself Kinvig.
But if you have the correct insurance then why won't they recover it? And if you haven't, why should they? Glad to see it hasn't put you off doing it all again. |
