Default ouch ouch ouch...it hurts so much!!

a lot!!!

in all the senses...

Saturday midday.. visiting Stew... a very nice rideout.

and after the stoppie of my life (second, to tell the truth, the one with the mopped was way more spectacular, 100 yards rolling vertical stopie, with superman flight included) this is the result...

plus a dislocated/mega swollen shoulder with megaswollen ribcage.

No more p*** taken from workmates regarding "over the top" leathers!!! Man, that extra armour and padding have saved my left side...as Mr Apesignature says... "Wear your f****" leathers!!!"

See you soon,
L

R&G... wow.. nice work. Saved the lower fairing.thumbs up for them.

Initial visual damage assesment says:
- full top fairing, with clocks, lights etc
- left brake disk and left handlebar brake link pipe
- gear lever
- forks bent
- tank has a good hit on left and right side
and more to come...

@rse.

What caused the stoppie - deliberate (i.e. pi55ing around) or to avoid hitting something?

traffic lights go green.... I am on second lane... go a few meters behind, change to first lane to overtake and... bu***er!!!! a minicab stopped without warning to do a pickup...

No escape on my right and the curb on the left. stoppie came by itself, I have grown used to use only the front brake and engine braking for when the bike is straight...

Ouch!

Good to hear you're 'relatively' ok.

Really sorry to hear this, not a nice accident at all. Hope you heal fast and much luck getting the bike sorted.

Haven't seen you for ages either .

Take it easy and keep us up-to-date with how things are going .

so far my insurance says is a clear case of not keeping the safety distance... talking with "rider support" now..
