Re: Accessory Distribution Gizmo Group Buy
basic Gizmo Fitting
everything is pretty much self explanatory apart from the connectors for the Ignition on/off live feed. 2.connects inline with your rear brake light switch. 3.connects to an ignition live feed somewhere on the loom (number plate light for instance), if your using the number plate light then you will need to determine which wire is live and which is return. if you connect to the return and the bulb blows on your number plate light then you will loose power to the Gizmo so you need to use the live feed. to use (3) connector all you do is lay the selected cable on top of the metal fork then press a little once you have done that you can then fold the plastic housing over and snap shut, you will then have a slot in the front of the connector that you push (1) into. |

Re: Accessory Distribution Gizmo Group Buy
Gizmo looks good.
munky I'm hoping to wire it so I have three possible outlets and the pratnav (from the canbus accessory plug). I've taken all the tupperware off today. The length of time that took, it's no wonder servicing's so bloody expensive. I now need to find a good position to neatly secure the unit and the outlets. However I'm at Swaffle's to help with his exhaust tomorrow so it may be next weekend.

PM me your postage details and i'll pop a few in a bag for you to try out. ooohhh do you have uninsulated crimping pliers? Quote:
on that note.... i have tracked down the exact plug from my supplier but its coming up as 'controlled product' so i'll have to go begging. if not then the supplier i was going to use has put their prices up to around £15 posted so i think it would be easier if i ask folk to get the plug themselves and i'll supply a terminal and instructions. or if you pay up-front and can wait i'll do all the donkey work |
