OK, here it is. After having a few hours of chat with the Preston Dave, we have decided on rules, date and route.
1. £300 maximum purchase price. If you wish to buy new tyres fair enough, these are not in the budget cap. MOT price is in the cap as it is a requirement for a roadworthy bike but tax is not in the cap. 2. Minimum cc. 125, no maximum cc limit but keep in the spirit of the event, its not supposed to be a simple cruise to Spain, buy something fun! 3. Route. Motorway avoidance as much as possible, if its raining in the UK we will use them so we get to the ferry asap. Will show routes in another post. Possibly going to take 4 days to travel there. People not wishing to ride their bikes back can sell/scrap them in Spain and fly back from Alicante but must make their own arrangements. We are hoping for a man and a van to be with us for the trip, all offers accepted  Ferry prices and accommodation costs will be posted when we have a better idea of numbers as DP`s Spanish gaff may not be big enough for us so bigger place may be aquired. ALL BIKES MUST BE LEGAL AND ROADWORTHY FOR THE BEGINNING OF APRIL. We would like to get all participants together for a photo shoot to try and drum up some support for charity. Anyone wishing to come on their own proper bike are more than welcome. Please use the original thread for chat, this thread is for info and attendance numbers.
