Default T Boned By Drunk Driver!

Well its not as bad as it sounds, said drunk driver was more of a drunk rider and was on a push bike. I was stationary at a junction, letting the rather tipsy guy cross, when half way across the road he swerves and rides right into me. He's fine btw. Only 'damage' is the matt plastic that houses all the dials has popped out from the fairing. Should pop back in but couldn't do it in the dark. Typical that the one day I don't attach my camera to the bike something like this happens.
Stay off the booze!

Hope you got his details and left him in a blood-soaked pile for the police to find.

Drunk in charge of a vehicle is still drunk in charge of a vehicle.

It'll illegal to ride a push bike drunk. Or so my OH told me when he had to collect me and my mountain bike from a pub a few years ago.

As said before it's illegal to drive or ride anything drunk.
Personally i would of dropped him then rang the police!
Times of today though even though he was in the wrong you would of been arrested for assualt.Still would of dropped him though!

"He ran into me and fell off officer. Once I got off my motorcycle to see how he was he seemed very agitated and was saying abusive things to me. In fear for my life, I lashed out and caught him on the chin with my titanium re-inforced glove, knocking him out. As he fell to the ground, his head made contact with my foot."

See self-defence AND an accident.

If you are ever in the situation where you have to justify having hit someone the magic words are "I feared for my life".

Much the same as restraining him till the police arrive----dependent on how much he struggles

Some very aggressive people on this site!
