Well, it's happened...
Most of you know by now, that I'm the kind of guy not to be shocked by most folks riding styles. My standard response to most videos is "well, aside from a few silly things, I see nothing vastly wrong with that riding."
I've just found one that's completely fscking mental! Apparently a trip around the Periphique, this guy passes a cop at speed, and the cop even doesn't bother to give chase. I could see around 90% of the gaps that he went for, but there were a few that were surprising. Most of them my SV wouldn't fit through, but if it would, I'd of ridden there myself. The back end slides toward traffic parked at lights, or stepping the back end out on the throttle though, is completely insane on a public road anywhere in the world. Doing it on a French road takes some serious cohonas! The video in question, is here, and viewer discresion is advised. Especially those that cringe at "normal" filtering videos. |

Re: Well, it's happened...
Saw that a couple of years ago. Thought the guy was a tool then and nothing in the interim has altered my opinion. It was the treating of red lights as 'Give Way' at best and wheelying past pedestrians that really made me think 'What a ****!'
Maybe he can control a bike, but is totally unsafe, as no other road user would expect such idiotic driving. |

Older than a old thing on an old day in Oldville.
And slow anyway.

Re: Well, it's happened...
This is mental.
He gets some serious side ways movements going on under braking and throttle. Here we have a prime example of mentalism |

Re: Well, it's happened...
I havn't watched it, and won't bother; I hate that feeling you get of cringing and stuff. But from what I gather, he is a skilled rider but applying his skills in a really stupid way.
When it comes to road riding, i think the best kind of rider is a safe rider. That dosnt mean slow, it just means upping the pace when its safe to do so, and not bothering when theres just too much danger.. Matt |
