All down to if I fix myself or recover to the dealership and it takes a while with the insurance isn't it...I'll figure out what tomorrow, my Dad is popping over, he's an ex-mechanic and ex-motorbike rider so should bring some sanity to the whole thing

Thanks, tough call whether ABS would have saved me or not, I would like to think so but it all happened so damn quickly I am not really sure...maybe the stopping distance would increase with ABS in this situation and I'd have hit her bonnet, I was losing speed quite well when sideways, in fact I think I high sided...it's all a big blur to be fair

Certainly is, gotta love it when car drivers are in their own little world not paying attention....next time in the dark and the wet I shall not filter and just sit quietly in the queue like everyone else...or take a different longer route home because I can

I threw my bike down on some ice a couple of years back. The front fairing was pretty smashed but it didn't stop me riding around and attending rideouts with it like that. I've still yet to repair all the damage. Chalk it down to experience and carry on.

Thanks Skip, all part of the learning curve

I will do my best to attend the ride out, gonna be trying to suss out and source what parts are needed to have a working bike again...I just hope I don't need a new right peg hanger and just the foot peg and rear brake lever

Beer time, tomorrow is another day

Night all

I had a good day today.

Had to clear out a load of stuff from the shed and old materials from the projects I have been doing here over the last few months.

Got the bikes out and gave them a bit of a clean.

Couldnt resist texting this to KJ...
