Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
p.s. Just got signed off for two months by the doctor (gp) today. He's going to keep an eye on my recovery and warfarin doings and is happy to keep me off for as long as it takes. All I need to do is find so jobs i can do whilst standing still and not carrying any weight. I don't think I'm quite ready to do the long due oil change yet, but maybe clean up the rear subframe and give it a coat of paint?

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
I just rode my bike!!!!
I backed it out of the garage so that I could have enough space to clear up the mess in there and stack the new shelves I got, then had no other option but to start her up, get on, and ride her back into the garage. It was only about 15 feet but it was very tempting to turn it round and do a quick (very slow) lap of the block. I WANT TO GO FOR A PROPER RIDE! |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Have any of you read the thread by Rictus about the surprising lack of interest regarding AR12?
It was mentioned that the EAR is a 'foreign' area to many so I said I would ask in here whether we think it would be possible to put a good enough route together and have it this way. I only know the roads to the west of the region and most rideouts we do the roads are new to me. So what d'ya reckon, could it be done over this way.... And this is NOT me offering to organise AR12 |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Lets be honest... we can barely be bothered to organise ride outs, let alone an AR :P

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
I have replied to the thread - I love the roads around Suffolk - anything involving Dennington/Yoxford and the A1120 and its surrounding B-roads would be certain to please people - but I just don't fancy organising anything.

An AR is a big undertaking and I know that I can't take any leave during the Olympics, which is usally the traditional time for holding the AR, so I wouldn't be able to help much in the build up. Plus where would we hold it?
