Default Genuine Suzuki Oil Filters

on Ebay, if anyone needs one.

Seems like a good price. Just bought a couple. Have bought from this vendor before and not had a problem.

I use Hiflofiltro ones at about £4.50.

Anyone got experience/opinions of them V3 (?) billet stainless filters? The reuseable ones?

I used Hiflo with no issue, bought them in bulk (x12) worked out about £3 each.

Cheers Mark.

How much are they from dealers normally? May have to get some of those if the saving is big enough

Ive been using the free ones from Hein Gerrike but Im told they dont do that offer any more.Still got a couple left in store I think.

Derail----I dont use Paypal and I notice an increasing number of Ebay auctions are Paypal only these days.I wonder if those sellers realise how many potential buyers they are excluding.

Now that ebay sellers are not allowed to charge punters the extra 4% on paypal transactions, there's little reason not to get one, to my mind.

I have heard a few nasty stories about Paypal accounts being hacked, and some other maladministration problems. Also, buyers do pay the extra eventually as this cost has to be reflected in the overall prices, just not stated as plus%4 for Paypal.I think the Ebay/Paypal axis is turning into a bit of a monopoly and is in need of paring down.

I definately agree with this; it's just that now, that cost is passed to all buyers, so the incentive to use a credit card (to save that 4%) is now gone.

With regard to security, we were recently advised by an external security auditor that Paypal's own brand of credit card are the most secure and the fact that they are such a desirable target for hackers means that they actually take their security very seriously indeed (and consequently are comparatively very secure).

You do need to jump through hoops a wee bit with Paypal's admin though sometimes... If you're dealing with a claim (either against you or against someone else) their procedures are IMO deliberately confusing, and if you slip up they're likely to just award against you regardless of the facts. I think the number of people who give up halfway through is probably huge. But still, the buyer protection you get compared to just buying with cheques is great.
