Re: The MTB thread
Don't know about that, I didn't really take to proper cx riding- sold that bike a while back and it didn't really see that much mud... The clearance was much the same though- the Vs had less clearance than the Shortys but the frame clearance was more restrictive anyway.
(oh, PS, just was searching for something on STW and found your "what bike" thread... We caught you! Your SV looks almost exactly like mine did before I lost my mind)

Re: The MTB thread
I pick that Rockrider 5.3 up tomorrow. The one recommended on here. Can't wait to squeeze into my lycra.

Re: The MTB thread
Laurie, Are you actually gonna ride it off road? Let me know, its been too long since put the rocky mountain up in the loft.

Re: The MTB thread
Yeah, definitely going to use it off road, plan to build up to 25-30 miles a session through the Autumn and see what happens after that. I'll even ride it in the rain

Re: The MTB thread
My ringpiece quivers when it rains, no meltdown or discharge though. Pick the bike up tomorrow.

Re: The MTB thread
I've gone for the 6.3. Looking to do some XC trails and get back into being fit and healthy!
