Better to read that than to experience it at close quarters

Any time of the day or night!

After my experience on the Applecross Double Dash rideout I've been busy buying things that I wished I had on that rideout.

I found all of my gear was waterproof bar my boots and summer gloves. So I've brought some waterproof inner gloves and socks.

Me and Pete compared who's was biggest and I found mine was when packed (I mean sleeping bags) . So after seeing how small Pete got his sleeping bag with the aid of a compression sack I brought 2 of them.

Now the most expensive part, a new rear tyre.

I'd like to think that's not a bad scrubbing in effort after only 50 miles.

Long live GM2 drivel errr I mean banter.

I've got to say, what a great post to have as the opening post. I think I pretty much have everything I need now until I get over to Pete and Lissa's and watch them pack the kitchen sink.

Good lord I'm well and truly set for this ride after the impression avon storms have left on me today (as in they're good - I've not got a tread pattern across my back or anything...)
