Re: Motorcycle museum Birmingham
Is that the same museum that had a fire or something a few years ago and had a good portion of their bikes ruined??

That place is less than 10mins from me and i havent been there since it reopened . A neighbour 2 doors away actually restored 2 bikes for the new place, he's an old boy in his 70's. He's nuts about old classic bikes, always got one on the go, we could talk for hours. He used to be a fitter at an engineering company and has a lathe in his shed, he makes all the old stainless imperial bolts that he cant buy anymore. Phil |

You wouldn't know that it had been so badly damaged. Just about every bike was painstakingly restored, and they have loads of new exhibits since then. I don't recall an SV there, mind - in fact every bike there is British. It's a great day out. |
