Was bidding on one but have been out bid. Not in any rush. Not as though I don't have any other manual cameras to use! Been toying with the X300 while reading the manual. Seems fairly straightforward to use.

Most of the manual adapters seem to be fixed price at £10-12.
I put in a 'best offer' at £7, which the seller accepted.

If anyone is after some kit, these are a couple of Pentax SLRs for sale, the KM has a 55mm f1.8 lens and is a great camera. I think the ME is actually a ME Super so good too. A few days left on it.

Only thing I am really looking for at the mo is a lens for the Minolta. Really trying hard to not buy more cameras! Loaded the MV1 again and found a definite problem with the rewind crank. Will need to be unloaded in the changing bag if I can find it. One camera I can recommend if you see it at a good price is the Canon AE-1 Program. FD lens is great.

I think I have enough cameras for a while. I've just had an ebay blitz on lens caps and skylight filters though.

Interesting what you were saying about the Canon AE1. That was the camera I set out to buy many years ago. I'd researched, decided that was the camera which did everything I needed, and went down to the shop to get it. Tried it, hated it. There was something about the display and metering that I just didn't like and couldn't get on with. Tried the OM2n instead and bought it in a heartbeat.

Kenzie, any idea about what lens for the Minolta?

Got a bid in on a Tamron 28-70 f3.5 adaptall 2 lens which has just over a day left. My AE-1 has an iffy power switch so from time to time I have to press down on it. How many do you have?

Here's the OM10 with the 28-105 Vivitar.
It looks much bigger than it really is in the second pic so I put the keys in to give a bit of perspective.

Wow, it looks huge! You don't have a spare Minolta 50mm lens do you? Can trade for the OM 50mm f1.8?

No spare unfortunately, only the 1 50mm. Buuuut, I am considering a purely tactical new purchase...
