Could do with some help
I have the chance to do some voluntary work for the Chris Jones Riders Fund at Oulton Park on the BSB weekend. It is something I have never done, so am very apprehensive about saying yes. Has anybody done anything like this? It is selling raffle tickets & working on the stall to raise money for a fantastic cause.
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndid=145768490 I am quite a quiet person as those that have met me know & am pooing myself at the thought of thousands of people around me, plus i want to do the best I can to help this great cause. Help appreciated please

Re: Could do with some help
I've done some charity work before including being one of the annoying people who hastle you in the street on behalf of red cross etc.
My advice is to do it, as it makes you feel so good when you get someone signed up or who have donated money. Make sure you know as much as possible about the charity you are working for. As for being nervous and having loads of peeps around you, it may be daunting for the first 5 minutes, but after that you will find it easy. Worth doing, really is.

Do it! You'll have a great time, and be doing good too.
That is all

Ditto...... you`ll be fine. As Drew said learn a little bit about the charity beforehand cos people might ask questions. You`ll feel a sense of achievement at having done something to help the charity and will love it.
