Default Fuel pump change

Apologies if this is a dumb question, already did a search and couldn't see an answer.

I need to respray my 650K6 tank and I also want to Dremel out the small fuel nozzle thing that fits in the top under the filler cap (long story but good reason).

Hence I need a completely clean and dry tank. But how TF do you get the fuel pump out (I presume that's the heavy thing in the bottom of the tank)? It seems to be too big to come out the hole when you remove the allen screws ???

Never had any trouble, it's not difficult to remove - remove bolts wiggle pump out.

Well I finally got it out. There's a plastic widget at the top that makes it slightly larger than the hole but with a teeny bit of brute force it does come out.

Onwards and upwards
