HELP!!! 1999 SV650 Clutch Not Working Right
Hi Guys,
Fitted a new clutch on the bike a few months ago, just got round to finally getting the bike out of the garage and selected first gear and the bike cut out as if the clutch isn't disengaging the gear from the engine like its suppose to. HELP!!! |

Check your sidestand switch switch if the engine is just cutting out when you try to select a gear. If on the other hand it's cutting out with a jolt and a clunk then it probably is the clutch failing to disengage.

HELP!!! 1999 SV650 Clutch Not Working Right
It's ok I've sorted out the problem, turns out because the bike has been sat for a while the clutch plates had stuck together. I've taken them out and freed them now it all works fine and runs great
