Default Curvy Lower Fairing & R&G Crash Bungs

Fitted my lower fairing the other day for the first time and i already had the bungs on, i noticed on the right side the fairing is literally touching (potentially light pressure) one bung and on the other side there is about a 1mm gap, is this correct? I didn't have any instructions when fitting the fairing because i bought it off eBay, could the brackets be alligned incorrectly or...?

Thanks folks, any help much appreciated!

You need to slightly trim the fairing to make them fit 100% iirc.

I've a curvy, R&Gs and lower farings and it's the same as you - the side are not quite identical. The bungs are on there as they should be and unless you know about it or look hard, it doesn't show.

Mine is the same. Hasnt been a problem though. The fairing isnt marked or damaged in any way.

Mine were like that too... I could sort of shift the fairing forward slightly to get the same clearance but then it had odd panel gaps so I just left it. It shouldn't be a problem, if you have an off the bung will bend in the opposite direction so it won't break the fairing. Certainly wouldn't cut the fairing, that'd kind of defeat the purpose.
