SV 650 Trackbike progress
Attached is the latest picture of the bike, unfortunatley I hit a blocker with the rev counter as it looks like the Aprilia RS125 rev counter doesnt work with the SV. I will probably end up with a trailtech vapor but its not what I want.
Bike now needs some paint Anyway the mods to date are: - Ally front Subframe Ally Rear Subframe Ally clock mounts GSXR Forks GSXR front wheels GSXR Cast Iron 320mm disks GSXR 4 pot calipers GSXR Clipons Fast Action Throttle Benelli Shock ZX10 Master Cylinder HRC Front Resovoir HRC Rear Resovoir HRC Rad overflow Race Supplies Rear Sets Daytona 675 Front Fairing Daytona 675 Screen CBR1000RR Tail Unit Micron can Custom High Level Link Pipe Keyless start I think thats it but I may have missed something If anyone has a race tacho going spare Im interested |

Re: SV 650 Trackbike progress
I've got the rev counter off my old minitwin if you're interested. I think it's off a zxr400 but it worked fine once I'd figured the wires out and calibrated it with a rev counter off my mates naked curvey.

Re: SV 650 Trackbike progress
I'd want £10 for it.
If you come and pick it up them I can show you how I wired it in although I won't be able to show you them working. Cheers Tony |

Re: SV 650 Trackbike progress
That bike looks fantastic!
Can I ask how you fitted the 675 fairing - did you use an SV alloy s/frame? Cheers |

Re: SV 650 Trackbike progress
The front and rear subframes are one off's made by a guy I know, I can give you the number if you wish he is very, very good. I will take some pictures when I have the fairings off again. Then is just a case of bending ally to make into brackets to reposition the original SV brackets.
SDC also make a subframe to fit the CBR1000RR seat unit on the curvy SV which they retail at 160 quid but they do stick up in the air a bit. |
