Sobering - A647 Staningly Bypass - Leeds

It is with much sadness i am writing to inform of an off... not anyone i knew but someones friend relative etc etc...

As i was about to turn onto the slip road leeding down onto this road i noticed a big yellow air ambulane sat on the road.. i knew there had been an accident i turned arround and avoided the area....

however about 30 mins later you could still proceed onto the bypass.. which i did only to see on the opposite carridgeway a motorcycle on its side and a car parked att he edge surrounded all surrounded by police...

To worsen the sittuation it would appear it was a fatality as the SOC was present surveying the area.

i have never before driven past a motorcycle accident but i really hit me hard how easily a life can be taken,,,

Im still praying he/she is ok... ill await the news tonight..

So as usual.. lets really keep our eyes open...
