Moulded plugs are superior. Nothing else will actually fit your ear canal as snugly

I can't fault the ones I use; they fit really well and offer a lot of noise protection, I can still hear the intercom music & phone calls with ease and they are extremely comfortable.

Tried those, treid the 'rhubarb ones' many times , tried the mushroom ones - as soon as I start pulling my lid on they jump out my ears. If I manage to get it on I feel them fall out as soon as I'm on the bike and pick them up off the floor next time I take off my lid. I think I just have gapingly large ear 'oles

They're really soft and comfortable, definitely better than foam, and you can hear things (including music) through them. I do really think moulded plugs would be better, so following this thread!
Thanks, my mate who's a drummer swears by those and manages to wear them to gigs and they don't fall out.

I'll weigh up whether I try those or stump up for ultimate ears. I've tried so many things over the years and failed I might just have to go for the ultimate ears and hopefully be done with it!

I'd be curious about the difference between UE and Custom Fit Guards, if you look into them. My understanding is you need to have them professionally fitted, so presumably will be a problem with current restrictions.

Yep and yep. An audiologist puts in a foam stopper then injects medical grade silicone into your ear. After that CFG/UE or whoever will make moulds, put filters or speakers in etc
