Hopefully all this will be over with soon. We aren't going to book anything for the next couple of months as we just don't know what is going to happen. In a side note, I also tracked down a 35mm adapter kit for the Yashica 635. I had put £16 on but at the last moment I upped it to £20. Good job I did as in the dying seconds a bid of £18 appeared.

I keep collecting bits for my vectis. I bought the 3200i flash for a fiver and it works fine. I then saw the 3500xi for a similar amount.

I don't need the 3200i so happy to pass it on to anyone in this group for free.

The xi is impressive, even works wirelessly.

Nearly finished the film in the camera and I'll get that processed at work.

Thanks but I don't use flashes. Well National Trust and English Heritage have shut down for the time being so no go for photo walks.

I thought I heard NT places were open for free? Clumber park near us is, for example, or so I'm told.

No flash - not sure if that's old school or just Luddite! I guess you take a lot of landscapes or wider scenes rather than portraits or other close-ish shots.

Ah right. Okay super geek question, these A4 negative pockets, how many can you get in a normal A4 folder, once the negs are in them? I've got a box of 100 and it's maybe 15mm thick, but I wonder if they'll quadruple in size or something once I start using them?

Depends on whether you are putting a single strip of negs in each section of each pocket. You can fit more in but this will make it thicker. I'll have a measure in a bit.

Edit: 51 sheets with negs gently compressed is about 20mm thick.

Well given the uncertain future I have deleted all ebay watched items. Sounds silly but I realise I don't really have a back up if they decide to stop everyone working and I can't go throwing money at a hobby right now. How are you lot holding up?

We've drastically cut our opening hours in Jessops. I'm only doing 6 hours a week instead of 16. Three people have taken vr including the manager.

So tough times for some of our staff. I volunteered to leave but they wanted me to stay for when things pick up, if they do.

I'm lucky that i have a good pension so working was never about money. I feel for the younger ones though.

I'm not sure if Jessops is going to survive this.
