Nope, loads of good stuff there - much better than a lot of modern crap. But each to their own. You stick with your Coldplay Ill stick with my classic rock/metal.

Firstly, the video posted is a parody of Coldpaly, but you didn't have a look.
Secondly, most of the poodle bands that came out the 80's could not be called classic. It was as much, if not more pop trash than the kind of stuff released today.

I'm with you Lyn - give me nwobhm any day!! But as you say 'each to his own' - that's what makes us so colourful & cosmopolitan - people liking different things - it'd be pretty boring if we were all the same, wouldn't it Razor?
